Week 2: February 2-8
Welcome to Week 2 of the #GoalsProject! Wow, what a week! It is remarkable to see the excitement building around the Global Goals. Now that we have had our “virtual handshake,” we are ready to dive into creating our individual class projects!

Objective 1: Reflect on Week 1 Learning
- Review all the 17 SDGs and remind students of your own class Global Goal
- Check in with your WhatsApp Group facilitators and global educators
Objective 2: Hear from Your Project Student Ambassadors

Objective 3: What will your Class #GoalsProject project be?
Within your group, your class has one dedicated Global Goal. You and your students are invited “to meet” this Goal through a process of inquiry (invite students to ask questions, share perspectives, engage in discussion and research) and create a Class Project around the Goal.
All ideas are welcome! Some classes may choose to create a presentation, a story, a video, a collection of photos, an art project, a song, an invention, a Minecraft world, a social good campaign, a mock city, a garden, an eBook, and on and on! Final projects will be shared during Week 6 via Padlet for your group. Note: it is okay if your class needs a little extra time), so in the end you will need to have a shareable link or file (e.g. YouTube video link, Google folder, PDF, etc).
This week, explore different ideas for projects. Research your SDG online, consider local and global needs, check out past projects for inspiration.
